Startup Europe Summit - #RO2019EU

Last week our #RO2019EU journey continued in Cluj-Napoca where we brought together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and other key players in the start-up ecosystem from across the European Union. This event was a major milestone and demonstrated our commitment to supporting the growth and development of the European start-up ecosystem.

The two-day event was packed with engaging sessions, inspiring keynote speeches, and valuable networking opportunities for more than one thousand participants who had the chance to hear from successful entrepreneurs who shared their stories of overcoming challenges and building successful businesses, as well as investors who shared their insights on how to secure funding and grow a start-up. We also had the opportunity to showcase some of the most innovative start-ups from across Europe.

But the Start-up Europe Summit was more than just a chance to hear from successful entrepreneurs and showcase innovative start-ups. It was also an opportunity for policymakers to come together and discuss how best to support the growth and development of the start-up ecosystem. During the event, we held several sessions focused on policy topics such as access to finance, regulatory challenges, and internationalization.

Organizing the Start-up Europe Summit was a good opportunity to showcase Romania's potential in the tech industry and promote innovation and entrepreneurship at the European level. I believe that events like these can help shape the future of Europe and contribute to a more competitive, sustainable and digital economy.
